Went to check out Lantau island today to escape from the city. It's a wonderful place and spent most of the day in fact in the small village of Tai O. We then went to visit the Big Buddah and the Po Lin monastery which was quite impressive. Unlike Mr Sorega from GR diary I did not feel compelled to walk up to the peak :)

I had been wanting to take this shot since Guangzhou but it just was not right. Still not as I want it but getting there. Perhaps I need a 80mm lens instead of just the 28
